Karen Patterson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP/A is a Professor Emeritus from Northeastern State University. She has 50 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist and 45 years experience as an Audiologist. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (CCC-SLP/A) and licenses in both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Her primary focus at Above & Beyond Speech Therapy is diagnosing speech and language disorders but she also provides therapy for children and adults with a variety of communication disorders. In addition to 40 years as an instructor of future professionals in speech-language pathology and audiology, Karen also has experience as a public school speech-language pathologist.
